Williams College* Eco Caf Attendant in Williamstown, Massachusetts
A 40-hour per week, 12-month, year-round position for Eco Caf? Attendant, reporting to the Unit Manager for Retail Student Dining in Paresky, is available. Due to covid-19, this position will originally be hired to work in Whitman's Dining with an initial schedule of Sunday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, Wednesday through Friday 6:00 am - 2:30 pm, Saturday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, with Monday and Tuesdays off. Post Covid, when the Eco Caf? operations resume, the schedule will be Monday - Friday 6:00 am - 2:30 pm, with Saturday and Sunday off. All schedules are subject to change based on the needs of the department. Responsibilities: Responsible for providing the highest quality of customer service by answering questions, assisting with orders, and representing Dining Services in this self-sufficient caf?. Maintains safe hot and cold food holding temperatures throughout the food service period Package take-out foods and/or serve food to customers Responsible for expediting and monitoring mobile ordering, ensuring accuracy and execution of mobile app orders. Ensures all food items on the service line are accurately labelled for food allergens, generated from FSS utilizing Net Nutrition and Bartender program Ensures customer service needs are being met, by reporting all food shortages to the Manager for immediate replenishment. Ensures the daily utilization of LeanPath Waste Reporting System for pre-consumer waste. Responsible for menu reporting actuals and ordering on a daily basis using CBORD FSS System. Responsible for reporting cash readings, securing cash sales and establishing cash banks for each shift. Reports to the Associate Paresky Manager problems related to CBORD cash handling, access control or other Point of Sales concerns. Ensures proper HACCP guidelines while following the MA. Code as they pertain to food, inventory control and sanitation. Is current in BBP and MSDS training. Steritech Compliant. Establishes with manager daily/weekly cleaning schedules for unit kitchen and assigns staff responsibilities. Performs other duties as assigned Qualifications: Must be able to work independently, stand for prolonged periods of time, and handle heavy material involving lifting and bending and complete duties as assigned Must be able to lift at least 40 lbs.
