Williamstown Recovery Operator, LLC Facilities Maintenance Technician in Williamstown, Massachusetts

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Worker to join our team and help ensure our facility operates smoothly. Job Summary: The Maintenance Worker will be responsible for performing a variety of routine maintenance tasks to keep our facility in excellent condition. This role involves inspecting, repairing, and maintaining various systems, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and structural elements. The ideal candidate is a problem-solver with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently. Key Responsibilities: - Perform general maintenance and repairs, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC systems. - Inspect and troubleshoot equipment, identifying any potential issues. - Complete routine inspections of the facility and ensure all areas are safe, clean, and functional. - Respond to maintenance requests promptly and efficiently. - Assist with the installation, repair, and upkeep of facility structures and equipment. - Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and any other required documentation. - Ensure all tools and equipment are maintained in good working condition. - Follow safety procedures and regulations to prevent workplace accidents. Qualifications: - Proven experience as a maintenance worker, handyman, or in a similar role. - Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general facility upkeep. - Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. - Ability to operate hand and power tools. - Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy equipment and materials. - High school diploma or equivalent; technical training is a plus. - [Relevant certifications, if any, such as HVAC or OSHA certifications]. Additional Requirements: - Ability to work independently or as part of a team. - Good communication skills. - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
