Temporary Internship Assistant (20 hours per week, February 2021-June 2021) Opening Details The '68 Center for Career Exploration's mission is to prepare Williams students to explore and pursue their goals through comprehensive, individualized career education. We encourage all students, regardless of background or means, to discover their interests, skills and values so they can lead fulfilling and impactful lives. A Temporary Internship Assistant is needed 20 hour per week from February 2021-June 2021 to perform administrative tasks in order to support the '68 Center for Career Exploration's Signature Internship Programs. Responsibilities: Provide extensive administrative support for Dawn Dellea, Manager of Alumni and Parent Programs. Respond to a wide variety of student and Alumni Sponsored Internship Program (ASIP) questions throughout the ASIP application process and provide support for 25 workshops and multiple orientation sessions. Edit 2021 wINTERNship final reports, create and post an online resource booklet for students. Read ASIP Applications, create application reports/evaluation sheets for all staff, and evaluate student applicants. Reach out to all administrative offices/academic departments offering summer funding opportunities and update/edit Williams Summer Funding Opportunities Web Page. Confirm submission of required ASIP Documents from ASIP grant recipients. Create spreadsheets of new SPEC 21 and ASIP employer contacts for the Employer Relations Team. Help develop alumni or student panels for the ASIP Program. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent preferred. 2+ years of experience preferred. Excellent editing/writing/interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with a diverse clientele. Proven ability to work independently and as a team player in a collaborative environment. Ability to multi-task and be flexible, resourceful, and organized in a fast-paced environment. Appreciation for and understanding of the liberal arts experience. Excellent computer skills (PC and Mac), including experience with Microsoft Office and Wordpress, comfortable learning new programs Temporary work is subject to the needs of the College, and as such, may change at any time.
