Overview:

Provide electro-mechanical maintenance support to all existing manufacturing equipment and ancillary processes, ensuring continuous operation with minimal downtime. Performs required maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of production equipment to resolve mechanical and electrical issues. Other aspects of the position include project work as well as routine maintenance support.

Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain manufacturing equipment to minimize downtime and keep processes operational.

  • Troubleshoot and diagnose basic electrical issues which may include PLC/HMI control systems

  • Perform and document preventative maintenance activities per procedures in accordance with defined intervals

  • Manage spare parts inventory for critical manufacturing equipment

  • Provide mechanical/electrical support for technical improvement projects such as new equipment installation/setup, fabrication of tooling/fixtures, and drafting of applicable operating/maintenance documents.

  • Work with Production technicians and Engineers in a cross-functional team setting

  • Follow all cGMP guidelines, safety standards and adhere to Standard Operating Procedures and other plant policies

  • CNC experience a plus!

Qualifications:

  • High school or equivalent required. Associates degree in related mechanical or electrical field preferred. Job experience in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing manufacturing equipment may be substituted for degree requirement.

  • Highly skilled in the use of a wide variety of hand tools

  • Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings and electrical prints

  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills

  • Basic electrical troubleshooting skills

  • Good organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

  • Experience working in a GMP / FDA regulated environment is desirable

  • Microsoft office skills (work, outlook, excel, etc.)
