We are currently seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to support manufacturing of photolithography capital equipment for advanced packaging and flat panel industries.

  • Create and implement manufacturing process plans in support of new products.

  • Support Purchasing and Engineering personnel in the build and test of electro-mechanical-optical subassemblies and system for existing and new lithography wafer steppers and panel printers.

  • Work with domestic and international Manufacturing, Engineering, Purchasing, and Supplier personnel to investigate and correct manufacturing, documentation and component problems as they arise.

  • Participate in continuous improvement effort and 8D problem solving as needed. Support internal and external quality process and corrective actions.

  • Reduce production labor, material cost while improving efficiency and utilization.

  • Administration of Engineering Change Order and Engineering Change Request system for the business unit.

  • Willing and able to travel domestically and internationally, travel may vary, but will average 10-15%

  • Bachelor of Science in Manufacturing Engineering, other engineering disciplines will be considered.

  • Minimum of 5 years of related experience

  • Ability to understand and work with schematics, detail and assembly drawings, and Procedures

  • Capable of using AutoCAD software, preferably Inventor

  • Experience in debugging mechanical and electrical problems

  • Demonstrated ability to work with and support manufacturing floor, engineering and purchasing personnel

  • Reading/Writing: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical documentation, business and technical reports and metrics, Microsoft Office, FileMaker reports and transactions. Ability to verbally/electronically respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, suppliers and peers. Ability to effectively present information to customers, management, engineering, manufacturing and peers.
