Responsibilities:

  • Manages the planning and administrative details of meetings, annual company programs, and large-scale events.

  • Collaborates with leadership and cross-functional teams to manage objectives, expectations, and desired outcomes with a positive, professional, service-oriented attitude.

  • Leads all phases of the event lifecycle, including sourcing, negotiating, contracting, registration, reporting, attendee communication, logistics, project management, onsite implementation, and financials.Attends all events to ensure that all planning details are executed correctly and successfully.

  • Documents all records pertaining to program management (i.e. Research files, contracts, agreements, correspondence).

  • Implements and manages licensed Event software account (Cvent).

  • Point of contact for all vendor management.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree - Event Management preferred

  • 3+ years of experience in event planning or project management

  • Experience with planning incentive trips preferred

  • Proficient in project management, with the ability to deliver multiple concurrent projects from inception through execution while meeting deadlines

  • Passionate about creating impactful initiatives to improve UniFirst's employee experience

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office is required. Cvent experience preferred

  • Detail-oriented and focused on continuous process improvement. An adaptable collaborator who solves problems with a can-do attitude.

  • A forward-looking thinker who actively seeks opportunities and proposes solutions.

  • Must have strong written / verbal/interpersonal communication skills with a high standard of quality

  • Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks, manage workflow, and participate as a positive and effective team member

  • Capable of building trust among diverse stakeholders and developing highly effective and collaborative relationships

  • Hybrid work environment with the ability to travel to Wilmington, MA, weekly

  • Must be able to travel internationally
