Job Title: Technician Supervisor

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Technician Supervisor to oversee a team of four service technicians. This role involves supervising and participating in the maintenance tasks, including changing dirty air filters, belts, and cleaning coils within a 50-mile radius of Boston. The primary clients are Boston public schools. The candidate must drive to the headquarters in Wilmington each day to pick up the truck and cannot take the truck home. Asset tagging after service is required to signal completion.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise a team of four service technicians.

  • Perform mechanical maintenance tasks such as changing air filters, belts, and cleaning coils.

  • Drive to various client locations within a 50-mile radius of Boston.

  • Ensure all maintenance tasks are completed to a high standard.

  • Asset tag after service to signal completion.

  • Drive to the headquarters in Wilmington each day to collect the truck.

Essential Skills

  • Mechanical maintenance experience with air filters and coil cleaning (4-6 years).

  • Experience with HVAC systems.

  • Valid driver’s license.

  • Proficiency in using hand tools.

  • Mechanical troubleshooting skills.

  • Experience with electrical systems and plumbing.

  • Comfortable driving the truck for extended periods.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Comfortable on a ladder.

  • Strong English communication skills.

  • Excellent customer service skills.

  • Ability to read blueprints.

Work Environment

The bulk of clients are Boston public schools, but other clients could include pharmaceutical/biotech companies, hospitals, event venues, manufacturing facilities, and office/retail locations. The position requires comfort in various environments and adherence to safety protocols, including completing a CORI form.

Job Type & Location

This position based out of Wilmington, Massachusetts.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $30.00/hr.
