We are looking for an exceptional Sr. Electronic Engineer who can help us with new product introduction, qualification, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of power electronics in toroidal plasma source products. Come join a creative team of engineers dedicated to the product support and sustaining engineering of our Remote Plasma Source, Ozone and Microwave product lines. In this role you get an opportunity to:

  • Perform system and board level testing to validate that new products meet design goals. Develop, document, and execute design verification testing. Report results and recommend appropriate engineering tradeoffs to optimize functional performance, reliability, and product cost

  • Support products in volume manufacturing by hands-on troubleshooting of problems and failure analysis of returned units

  • Create and review design ECOs as needed to support new product development and sustaining engineering needs

  • Participate in cross-functional project teams during design phase to achieve product design goals

What will you bring to the team, along with your curiosity and your hands-on approach to problem solving is:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with

  • 3 + years of experience in an electrical engineering or product engineering role.

  • The ability to use tools such as oscilloscopes, high voltage probes, power meters, etc. to successfully and independently test and debug circuits

  • The demonstrated experience creating and executing design verification test plans

  • It would be great if you have:

  • Experience with system and board-level failure analysis

  • Experience with resonant tank circuits, RF inverters, DC/DC converters

  • Knowledge of electronics reliability validation and testing

  • General familiarity with IPC standards
