Textron Systems is looking for a FPGA/ASIC Design Verification (DV) Engineer whose primary job function will be to support the verification of FPGA and ASIC designs for our electronic systems. The FPGA/ASIC Design Verification Engineer will be required to work closely with the RTL Design Engineers, System Engineers, and Hardware Engineers in the verification of RTL implementation in the target hardware. Responsibilities
Validate all FPGA and follow-on ASIC designs
Develop test benches for FPGA or ASIC design verification using UVM, System Verilog, Verilog or VHDL
Conduct various verification activities including creating test plans, cover plans, test bench architecture, and test bench development
Participate in coverage implementation and analysis, architecture of verification environments, development of test cases and running regressions in order to execute verification projects
Create bus functional models (BFMs) for key components of the design
Evaluate and integrate verification IP (VIP) into the verification environment
Develop coverage metrics and testcases to fully cover all test plan items
Generate digital verification scripting and automation
Lead and supervise digital verification tasks of multiple projects
Develop digital verification estimation, planning and scheduling to meet tape-out dates
Qualifications

! Qualifications
BS or/MS degree in Electrical Engineering or similar technical discipline with emphasis in digital design/VLSI coursework (preferred)
5 years' experience in FPGA and/or ASIC verification design
Experience in UVM, System Verilog, C and scripting languages
Experience with Verilog simulation tools such as QuestaSim, VCS or Xcelium
Experience with Formal Verification tools such as Synopsys VC Formal or Cadence Jasper Gold
Previous use of functional and code coverage tools
Experience with the latest design verification methodologies
Experience with digital design, including RTL coding in System Verilog, digital synthesis, timing closure and power estimation
Strong documentation skills related towards authoring and maintaining verification/validation documentation of test plans and test benches
Experience with Version control tools such as CVS, Git or Clearcase
Strong analytical and diagnostic skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
Experience related to military/aerospace design techniques, experience with DO-254 a plus How We Care
