About the Job

Under the general direction of the Finance Manager for Physician Services, the WPA Business Analyst will lead, facilitate, manage, and support cross-functional teams charged with overseeing specific service line initiatives within WPA specialty support services. Responsibilities will include understanding the service line billing and financial processes, business processes, quality, provider/colleague satisfaction and communications regarding performance across the entities involved. Partnering with WH leaders, this individual is responsible for ensuring access of specific specialty services within the WPA network, specifically working with WH leaders to implement programs and monitor financial performance of the professional component, but also ensure open communications between WPA and WH to ensure smooth operations and financial performance for both the facility and professional components.

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s Degree in related field and five years of financial experience in a health care setting.

  • Exceptional skills with Microsoft Office applications and PeopleSoft

  • Strong proven leadership, project management, and execution skills

  • Superb communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Demonstrated change agent, self-starter and team player

  • Able to work independently and handle multiple priorities

  • Capable of leading the charge (sometimes from behind) and thinking "out of the box". Comfortable challenging the status quo while able to work diplomatically to keep stakeholders engaged

  • Able to persuade others and gain commitment

  • Understands context of assignments and tasks with ability to be flexible and adaptable to changing roles & priorities

Scheduled Hours

40 hours weekly Monday-Friday
