Description:

Must Haves: -Must be able to read and write English -Must be able to use calipers/micrometers -Must be able to use and read blueprints

With a minimum of supervision, assemble, build, modify, Point to point wiring, trouble shoot, adjusts and functionally tests a wide variety of electrical/mechanical and refrigeration assemblies.

Assembles, trouble shoots, refurbish and reworks electrical mechanical units and refrigeration assemblies requiring the use of detailed electrical mechanical knowledge and skill to position properly and interrelate numerous parts and mechanisms, which must be held to high workmanship standards. With a minimum of direction works from blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, sketches, written and verbal instructions.

Capable of setting up and performing most of the following operations: wiring, electrostatic discharge wiring and assembly, soldering, refrigeration charging, brazing, deburring, tube bending.

Performs the following functional test operations on all electrical/mechanical and refrigeration units: pressure leak testing, refrigeration leak testing, heat load testing, thermal capacity testing, and hy-pot testing.

Performs adjustments, maintenance and lubrication. Maintain necessary hand tools and measurement devices for proper performance of the job.

Performs work in other cells and performs other related duties as directed.

Maintains a clean work area, and observes all Lytron safety rules.

We are looking for very good mechanical skills, ability to read drawing and use a drill press and hand tools and micrometers. Good communications skills are a must.

They look for HVAC training becuase of the brazing/cooling system knowledge.
