About the Position

As an Advanced Analytics Analyst in Marketing, you will report to the Marketing Analytics Manager, and play a significant role in the advancement of our Marketing Department. Together, we will help bring visibility to marketing’s impact, fueling marketing investment and campaign optimization, as well as build analytical models that create customer value. We will use a healthy mix of creativity, business statistics, data wrangling, automation, and strong critical thinking to thrive.

Soft skills are key as you partner with others and tell stories with data. Responsibilities:

  • Apply scientific approaches to testing and play a leading role in structuring tests that measure impact of channels, campaigns, and initiatives.

  • Establish working relationship with a variety of marketing associates and partner with them in achieving marketing goals by delivering strategy-impacting insights and identifying optimization opportunities.

  • Adopt a comprehensive customer touchpoint data strategy, that includes online & offline, to enable end-to-end measurement of campaigns and marketing attribution.

  • Own performance reporting and analysis for always-on lifecycle marketing campaigns.

  • Apply scientific approaches to testing and play a leading role in structuring tests that measure impact of channels, campaigns, and initiatives.

  • Build processes that automate reporting of critical metrics in Marketing. A combination of front end and backend tools will be utilized.

  • Use analytics (both descriptive and predictive) and modeling concepts to build analytical assets to drive marketing profit.

  • Lead hi-impact analytical projects (like customer scoring) that help build quantifiable value for the marketing department.

Qualifications:

Key requirements are SQL knowledge and the ability for the applicant to have a proven track record of accomplishments, tying their analytic efforts to significant results.

  • Bachelor's degree in a field of study. Economics, Analytics, Statistics, Marketing, or Finance are preferred. Equivalent work experience in lieu of education required.

  • A minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in marketing analytics.

  • Proficiency in SQL, Google Analytics, and statistics are a must.

  • An analytical, detail-oriented personality with an ability to think critically and creatively.

  • Strong social skills desired for working with partners and team members.
