American Tower Associate Project Manager, Network Operations in Woburn, Massachusetts
The Team
We are seeking an Associate Project Manager to join American Tower’s U.S. Tower division’s Network Operations team. The team monitors and maintains the Company’s U.S.-based assets, supporting both frontline representation in the field and strategic programs. Day to day you will assist with creating, planning, and timely executing tasks related to projects that improve customer satisfaction and support the team’s ability to achieve its goals and objectives. As an Associate Project Manager, you will partner cross-functionally to assist with creating and streamlining reporting and systems processes.
What You Need to Succeed
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.A minimum of 2 years of telecommunications industry and/or project management experience preferred.
Experience working on cross-functional projects and/or programs in a fast-paced environment preferred.
Experience with reporting systems and reporting presentations preferred.
Ability to create and refine business processes and procedures.
Ability to work successfully within both collaborative and autonomous environments.
Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and suggestions clearly and effectively.
Ability to work with different functional groups and levels of employees to effectively and professionally achieve results.
Strong organizational skills; ability to accomplish multiple tasks within the agreed upon timeframes through effective prioritization of duties and functions in a fast-paced environment.
What You Can Offer Us
Manage multiple small to mid-sized reporting and systems-based projects at once, from conception to completion, focused on data driven decision-making and scalability.
Partner with management, project sponsors, and other key stake holders to identify opportunities for projects, determine scopes, evaluate requirements, communicate issues and timing changes, and share progress against project plans.
Design and maintain metrics used to determine production of active and completed work, spend plans, and trend analyses.
Collaborate closely with the Data & Digital Solutions team to identify needs for system enhancements.
Deliver cross-functional solutions that support the Network Operations team in delivering against its goals and objectives.
Remain current with project management best practices and methodologies that are consistent with industry standards.
Other duties as assigned.
