Scientific Systems Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO) in Woburn, Massachusetts
SSCI has a great opportunity for a Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO) to manage program executed out of our Woburn Massachusetts office. The successful candidate will work closely with security management, program management, program personnel, and customer security to ensure compliance with U.S. Government directives, regulations, and requirements as well as corporate/business unit directives and customer directed requirements

Responsibilities
Manage all aspects of security for assigned programs
Ensure adherence to applicable laws as well as national, DoD, and other SAP security policies and requirements such as National Industrial Security Operating Manual (NISPOM and DoD Special Access Program (SAP) Security Manuals: DoDM 5205.07 Volumes 1 – 4
Provide special program security support to SSCI staff, including close coordination with Program Managers
Perform and coordinate program security administrative tasks and duties
Maintain personnel security records for SAP/SCI related programs to include the use of SIMS, DISS, and Scattered Castles
Perform initial access eligibility determinations and create PARs and SCI nominations
Process incoming and outgoing classified visit certifications
Conduct internal self-inspections and assist with staff assistance visits and customer security assessments
Maintain classified material accountability records to include inventory lists, receipt and transmittal records, and final disposition documentation
Ensure all classified materials are marked and controlled in accordance with contractual requirements
Review operational requirements and system specification documents to ensure applicable security requirements are addressed and incorporated into security processes
Interpret and implement security classification guidance
Assist in the development and approval of Program Protection (P2), OPSEC, security test, and transportation plans
Investigate and document security violations/incidents and provide recommendations for corrective actions to program personnel/management
Develop and maintain program Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
Attend, support, and participate in program meetings, staff meetings, telecons, etc.
Develop and conduct initial and refresher program security briefings debriefings, and foreign travel briefings as required
Requirements
Bachelor's degree with a minimum 3 years' experience, or a Masters with 2 years relevant experience; or associates and minimum 6 years relevant experience.
Five (5) years’ experience in Special Access Programs and with particular experience in the computer and physical security disciplines and the administration/implementation of the Joint Air Force-Army-Navy-JAFAN’s 6/0, 6/3, 6/4, and 6/9.
Experience in SAP and Collateral Information Systems (IS) Security
Demonstrated knowledge and use of the following regulations: JAFAN 6/0; JAFAN 6/3; DCID 6/3; Joint DoD IIS/Cryptologic SCI Information Systems Security Standards; DoD 5105.21 M-1; Sensitive Compartmented Information Administrative Security Manual; AFMAN 14-304; The Security, Use and Dissemination of Sensitive Compartmented information; ICD 503 Regulations (Computer Security), knowledge of Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes
Proficiency of the DoD O-5205.07, Volume 3; ICD-705 and applicable DoD physical security manuals and directives
Knowledge of databases, spreadsheets and report writing
Active TS/SCI Security Clearance based upon a SSBI within the last five years
