Position Summary

This position will play a critical role in our business transformation journey which involves migration from legacy systems to industry 4.0 and enterprise digital systems like MES, LIMS, MAM, QMS in the Make-to-Order process domain.

The Digital & IT (Manufacturing & Quality) should have excellent analytical skills to understand business requirements, solve problems using best practices and standard IT solutions. This is a hands-on systems/data analysis and project management and coordination role, that collaborates with the business users, technical teams, and vendors for solution implementation projects. You will play a champion role in identifying business requirements, analyzing current state business processes and systems, mapping requirements to future state system capabilities, and configuring, training, implementing, and supporting enterprise solutions.

The role will also be responsible for maintaining/supporting our legacy systems in the interim state and enhancing/maintaining future state systems post project implementation for reliable functional performance, conducting root cause & corrective actions, and working with business stakeholders and IT teams to drive improvements.

Responsibilities:

  • Build relationship and actively engage with business partners by eliciting requirements and conducting workshops to gather and document requirements.

  • Perform and document business analysis: current vs future state flow mapping, process and data modeling documents.

  • Perform cost-benefit analysis to align IT solutions with business initiatives.

  • Perform stakeholder analysis, identify project scope and create the project plan.

  • Lead and manage the project implementation schedule by coordinating with the project team and business stakeholders.

  • Actively participate in Project reviews, facilitate meetings with business partners, and provide updates to leadership on project and work status.

  • Coordinate with division IT, Group IT, COE, and other corporate IT teams (DevOps, enterprise architecture, middleware, security, etc.) to translate business requirements into functional/technical specs.

  • Perform system testing and oversee user acceptance testing.

  • Create, review, and deliver end-user documentation (user guide, process flow charts, training materials) as required.

  • Perform system functional and root cause analysis for production issue and coordinate with development team for resolution. Understand database/table structure to query and analyze data to answer and support business queries.

  • Drive Master data governance by engaging the business users and establishing standard instructions.

  • Drive core Agile processes like story creation, backlog refinement, and product demos and facilitate agile ceremonies like stand-up, sprint planning, etc.

  • Apply continuous improvement techniques and tools (gemba walk, kaizen, lean six sigma) to internal processes and systems to increase efficiency, drive customer service and reduce costs.

  • Lead Change: Persistently move in the face of ambiguity, dilemmas, and resistance to get completion of changes in an organized way; adapts with flexibility to and copes with changing situations while maintaining focus on goals.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferably in Information systems, Computer science, or related field.

  • 2+ years of professional business analysis and/or technical systems analyst work experience

  • Demonstrated written and oral communication skills.

  • Demonstrated evidence of analyzing systems and documenting complex business processes and system flows.

  • Must be a US Citizen or US Permanent Resident.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience in manufacturing industry domain

  • Experience with MES project implementations

  • Functional knowledge and hands-on experience with LIMS (Laboratory information management system), QMS (Quality management system), and MAM (Manufacturing asset management)

  • Hands-on experience with RDBMS & SQL

  • Certifications including CSPO, CSM, CBAP, and PMP

  • Hands-on and Migration experience with/from legacy mainframe-based applications

  • Experience with digital transformation in manufacturing particularly on the convergence of OT and IT is a big plus.
