Job Description
Maintains and repairs the facility’s structure, equipment and grounds, including plumbing, electrical and HVAC. Performs skilled trades work, such as carpentry or painting in the construction, repair or alteration of structures such as walls, roofs or office fixtures. Works with manufacturing or process engineering in the installation or repair of building plumbing and wiring required in the production process. Makes periodic or special inspections of the premise to determine repair work necessary. Works from blueprints, drawings or rough sketches.
Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities include:
Work with and technically direct internal/external resources based on system design criteria
System troubleshooting using drawings, schematics and diagrams for HVAC, plumbing, electrical and controls
Competency and endorsement in at least on skilled trade in additiona to required industrial waste water (HVAC, Energy Management, Electrical, Control Systems, Plumbing, Construction Management, Refrigeration)
Manage and maintain inventories of critical consumable items as well as forecasting future activities and projects to ensure adequate supplies are maintained
Ability to create documents using MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint for documentation upkeep, training, trending, etc.
