Job Description
Chemical handler responsible for managing all aspects of chemicals, gas cylinders, and production material supply within the Woburn Site. Activities include:
Responsible for following all defined safety protocols.
Timely delivery of materials to designated locations.
Accuracy in recording usage
Waste mitigation and management of expiration dates of chemicals
Chemical bottle wash activities
Additional duties based on proficiency.
Inventory control and tracking.
Unpack and check goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of received goods and rejects unsatisfactory items.
Prepare and maintain records of merchandise receipt. Verify inventory, perform physical counts of stock and investigate discrepancies.
Examine and inspect incoming material. Store all items in an orderly and accessible manner in supply rooms, or other areas.
Mark stock items using identification tags, stamps, or other labeling equipment.
Clean and maintain storage areas in order to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Utilize chemical drum transport tools, in-order to pick up incoming stock or to deliver parts to designated locations.
Determine sequence and release of back orders according to stock availability. Examines stocks and distributes materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines
Requirements
Must be capable of regularly lifting to 45lbs.
Strong computer skills. (Examples include Excel, SaP)
Flexibility in work hours as regular opportunities to work overtime.
Previous chemical handling experience a plus.
HS graduate minimum. AS degree preferred.

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is currently USD $33,800 - $55,000 per year. Starting base pay will depend on relevant experience and skills, training and education, business needs, market demands, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location.
