Python/C++ Software Engineer (Hybrid Position)

Woburn, MA

Base salary range : $145,000 - $179,500

Job Description:

• The Engineer in this role will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining software that integrates and enhances robotic capabilities to deliver product features.

• The Engineer in this role will work with a multidisciplinary team to develop software for robotic applications related to package handling.

• This candidate will be expected to be a primary contributor driving to real-world customer delivery, acceptance, and operation.

Minimum Skills/Technical Requirements:

o Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a closely related field.

o 4+ years of industry software development experience

o Strong development expertise in Python.

o Experience in a fast paced, agile software development environment.

Proficient in:

o Python

o C+

• o Linux (Ubuntu)

  o System level design

  o OOP Design Patterns

  o Asynchronous/Concurrent Programming

• Async.IO

  o Multi-threaded application development

  o Git

  o Jira

Ability to:

o Collaborate with a team on software projects

o Navigate and contribute to large, complex codebases

o Provide technical leadership on key projects

o Architect component-level software solutions

o Operate autonomously

o Determine and communicate justification of technical priorities to management
