Description We are seeking a Sr. Auditor to join our team located in Woburn, Massachusetts. This role is crucial in conducting thorough audits for our clients, particularly within the non-profit sector. The successful candidate will leverage their expertise in accounting and auditing to ensure compliance and accuracy in all audit engagements. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities include:

• Conducting comprehensive audits for non-profit clients, ensuring adherence to established guidelines and regulations.

• Utilizing various accounting software systems to handle accounting functions and maintain accurate records.

• Developing and implementing audit plans to identify any discrepancies or areas of improvement.

• Preparing and presenting audit findings to relevant stakeholders, offering recommendations as necessary.

• Leveraging knowledge of CobiT and CaseWare in executing audit engagements.

• Applying extensive knowledge of Single Audit (non-profit) procedures and guidelines.

• Ensuring all audit engagements are conducted in a timely and efficient manner.

• Collaborating with team members to share knowledge, improve processes, and achieve team goals.

• Staying updated with industry trends, changes in regulations, and best practices in auditing.

• Maintaining professionalism and confidentiality in all client interactions. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Experience with Audit Program

• Familiarity with CaseWare

• Ability to use CCH ProSystem Fx

• Knowledge of CobiT

• Understanding of Accounting Functions

• Experience with Audit Engagements

• Ability to interpret Audit Findings

• Experience in Auditing

• Ability to develop Audit Plans

• Experience in Single Audit (non-profit)
