Systems Design and Architecture (SDA) is the central focus for Mission Systems Integration activities within Raytheon Missiles & Defense (RMD). Raytheon Missiles & Defense (RMD) is looking for a Systems Engineering (SE) Program Lead to support the Missile Defense and Sensors (MDS) department. The MDS department provides subject matter expertise for concept development, architectural design, requirements generation & flow down, modeling and simulation, systems analysis, integration, test and evaluation of world-class Missile Defense & Sensor Systems to be achieved through our people, processes, technology and performance. The Missile Defense Programs Systems Engineering (SE) Program Lead is responsible for supporting front-end systems engineering, architecture, and design of missile defense radar systems. The SE Program Lead is the Missile Defense systems engineering team’s interface to the Systems Engineering Cross Product Team Lead and the Missile Defense program leadership team.
This position is responsible for, but not limited to, Directorate Estimate at Completion (EACs), Directorate level proposal Whitesheets, staffing projections and Directorate monthly tracking. Programmatically, the SE Program Lead is part of the core team that defines and handles the technical execution of missile defense systems growth paths.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:
Managing the execution of all scope of work assigned to the SE CPT, determining the allocation of personnel within the team to perform that work, and reviewing and approving any SE contract deliverables before delivery to the customer.
Responsible for supporting Missile Defense programs growth through proposal development and the deployment and continual improvement of people, processes and tools.
Representing the interests of the SDA Directorate on the program. Responsible for developing a team capable of delivering products that include algorithms, requirements, simulations, mission plans, customer briefings, integration and test plans, and integration and test reports.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires Bachelor's degree and minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience. (An advanced degree in a related field may be substituted for an additional 3 years of experience). In absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience.
Experience in managing cost, schedule, or technical performance for programs
Experience leading a technical team
The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance prior to the start date. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Qualifications We Value:

Experience in Integrated Product Development System and CMMI-compliant Gate Reviews and Tracking Books
Ability to manage multiple priorities
Ability to understand radar systems technology in the areas of radar design and analysis, and systems engineering development
Ability to collaborate with customer/program office in fast paced, dynamic environment with time-critical requirements
Prior experience with Department of Defense Radar Design and Development Programs
PhD/Master’s Degree in Engineering, or relevant discipline (Math, Physics or Business)
