Community Healthlink Clinical Site Director in Worcester, Massachusetts

Come join a friendly and diverse clinical team that provides quality care! Community Healthlink (CHL) is looking for a full -time (37.5 hrs/wk) Clinical Site Director in Worcester, MA.

PASSages is an intensive, short-term (2-4 week), inpatient treatment program for men and women 18 and older who suffer from substance use disorders but do not require detox. The program provides individual counseling sessions and comprehensive case management services to each client along with at least seven treatment groups per day, run by all team members. PASSages is an exciting, dynamic environment in which all members of the multidisciplinary team work together to ensure the best outcomes for our clients. The Clinical Site Director is responsible for day to day clinical operation of the PASSages Program in accordance with CHL standards, policies and procedures.

  1. Ability to supervise program staff in a culturally competent manner and to ensure staff maintains required competencies.

  2. Oversight of milieu including behavioral treatment planning for mental health and substance abuse.

  3. Effective communication with consumers, peers and other professionals that is sensitive to the racial/ethnic/cultural/class backgrounds.

  4. Operate program in an efficient and effective manner, ensuring compliance with DPH and CARF regulatory requirements.

  5. Administration: Oversees day to day clinical operation of the program. Interviews and recommends staff for hire. Participates in On Call Manager rotation to provide staff with support and to ensure program safety during non-business hours and weekends. Participates in management team meetings to develop and implement program goals and objectives. Co-leads staff meetings and works with program director to establish, update and/or implement program policies and procedures.

6.Supervision: Provides administrative and clinical supervision to assigned program staff. Assigns work responsibilities to staff.

  1. Training: Designs/implements staff training schedule as required.

  2. Maintenance: Coordinates with Operations Manager to ensure upkeep of the physical plant status and arranges for repairs as needed.

  3. Financial: Purchases or arranges purchases of items needed by program as needed.

  4. Continuity of Care: Attends treatment team meeting and case conferences. Establishes and maintains good working relationships with contracting agencies, community organizations and consumers.

  5. Routine Paperwork: Oversees and signs off on clinical documentation in the electronic medical record in compliance with DPH and CARF standards and regulations. Completes additional paperwork as assigned.

  6. Staff Schedule: Responsible for designing and implementing assigned staff work schedule to provide maximum coverage.

  7. Maintain Competencies: Sets up human rights, infection control, CPR, first aid and verbal de-escalation training. Informs staff of agency and divisional policy and procedures as well as other required competencies.

  8. Other Duties: Other related duties as assigned by the Program Director

  • Masters degree with license and mental health/substance abuse treatment experience.

  • Must be able to pass a CORI background check

  • Current valid US-issued driver's license and ability to provide registered, inspected and insured automobile for work related purposes including travel between work sites
