We are currently hiring a Health Center Greeter based in Worcester.  This position will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors of the organization. Health Greeters are responsible for performing health screenings and directing all patients and visitors of the organization upon entering the facilities. The Health Center Greeter promotes social distancing and infection control in the health center while creating a welcoming environment for patients and visitors.

Essential Functions

  • Ensure all patients, visitors, and vendors are wearing appropriate facial coverings.

  • Perform health screening questions for patients and visitors as they enter the facility based on the CDC and MDPH recommendations. Follow the protocol for failed screening.

  • Provide general directions/information to patients and visitors.

  • Follow and implement protocol related to visitor restrictions.

  • Provide customer service – monitor needs of patients/visitors and workflow of screening area.

  • Follow infection control, safety awareness and other organization, company, and program policies

  • Based on location and need, assist with management of the pharmacy line and screening of patients picking up medications.

  • Maintain patient confidentiality.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Communication, customer service and interpersonal skills.

  • Patience, flexibility, and adaptability.

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

  • Flexibility to work on weekends and national holidays required.

  •  Bilingual skills

  • Computer literate
