Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Production Supervisor to join our team in the manufacturing industry. As a Production Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth running of our production processes, while upholding the highest standards of quality and compliance. Responsibilities:

  • Review the daily production schedule and determine unit assignments and critical actions.

  • Conduct on-the-floor training to support technical and cGMP training programs.

  • Ensure operator training files are up to date and aligned with the required processes.

  • Collaborate with QA and Subject Matter Experts to address exceptions and resolve issues.

  • Assist in the incorporation of new processes into our plant through collaboration with the technology transfer team.

  • Review new batch records and SOPs to ensure adherence to established guidelines.

  • Provide supervision and mentorship to skilled nonexempt and junior level exempt employees.

  • Evaluate staff performance to identify areas for improvement and growth opportunities.

Significant Work Activities -Continuous walking for prolonged periods (more than 2 hours at a time in an 8 hour day)

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.

  • At least 5 years of experience in biotech manufacturing/production processes.

  • Knowledge of cGMPs, FDA regulations, and safety guidelines.

  • Experience in supervising and mentoring employees, providing training and performance evaluations.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with team members, QA, and Subject Matter Experts.

  • Familiarity with industrial automation systems, such as distributed control and PLC-based systems.

  • Proficiency in computer applications and scheduling.

  • Excellent writing skills for creating and reviewing SOPs, batch records, and other production-related documents.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

  • The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range.
