City of Worcester Talking Book Assistant in Worcester, Massachusetts
The City of Worcester seeks qualified applicants for the position of Talking Book Assistant (Librarian, Grade 2) for the Worcester Public Library. Under the direction of the Manager of the Worcester Talking Book Library, the position will assist with circulation, reader\'s advisory duties and perform exemplary customer service. Assist patrons in the use of the Talking Book Library services, facilities, equipment and collection maintenance. Supervise and record audio material for the collection. This position is involved in all operations related to circulation of Talking Book Library materials while delivering an excellent customer service experience. The ideal person in this position will possess excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills and have experience working with diverse populations in an urban community. Schedule will include evenings and weekend hours and working at other locations. Bilingual applicants are encouraged to apply.
