Latham Centers is seeking a talented and experienced Grant Manager responsible for researching, writing, and submitting grant proposals to foundations, corporations, and government agencies to secure funding for our nonprofit organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in grant writing, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping individuals with complex special needs. Schedule: 40 hours a week. Monday - Friday (flexible hours). Hybrid position. Qualifications: Bachelor?s degree in a related field, such as English, Communications, or Nonprofit Management. Minimum of 3 years of experience in grant writing for a nonprofit organization. Strong narrative and technical writing, editing, and proofreading skills. Excellent research and analytical abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Knowledge of fundraising databases and grant management software. Experience with state and federal grant regulations is a plus. Passion for serving individuals with special needs and a commitment to Latham Centers\' mission. Responsibilities: Research potential grant opportunities that align with Latham Centers\' mission and programs Write compelling grant proposals and grant reports that clearly articulate the organization\'s goals, outcomes, and impact. Collaborate with program staff to gather information and data for grant applications. Manage grant deadlines and submission schedules. Maintain accurate records of all grant activity and communications. Build and maintain relationships with Grantmakers and funders. Stay current on trends in grant funding and nonprofit best practices. Report out to Advancement team regarding progress of pre-award and post-award grant work. All other responsibilities as outlined by the supervisor. Generous benefits package!
